Lexington Marco LaGuardia Hotel
Flushing, NY
"Since joining the Lexington Collection, we finally understand the meaning of belonging to a Brand that is an active partner in the success of our business. The support, assistance and encouragement we receive from Lexington's corporate management and staff is incomparable to anything in our past experience."
- Peter and Tony Pecora, Owners |
Background:
Operating as a Wingate Inn, the owners of this 81-room property near New York's LaGuardia Airport were constrained by stringent brand standards from running the type of hotel they desired. Rebranded as the Lexington Marco LaGuardia Hotel in June 2009, the property is now an upscale boutique hotel that provides convenient access to the airport and nearby attractions, as well as an affordable lodging alternative to nearby Manhattan.
Results:
- Property has transformed into an upscale boutique hotel with European flair, providing
three-and-a half star accommodations and service
- Since the brand change, the property has consistently improved its ADR, occupancy and
RevPar against its competitive set
- Lexington brand contribution of 25% exceeds that provided by the previous brand
